From 28th to 30th March, the ‘#Sustainable Good Collection #New Energy Vehicle Tailgate Eco Bazaar’ debuted in Shenzhen Star River WORLD-COCO Park Star Plaza. This innovative practice of integrating green technology, circular economy and public welfare temperature, with ESG (Environment, Society, Governance) as the core, through the three dimensions of new energy vehicle exhibition, low carbon interaction, public welfare co-creation, to build a high-value scenario for the public to participate in the sustainable development, and to inject a new kinetic energy of green civilisation into the city.
The event is guided by Shenzhen City Management and comprehensive law enforcement Bureau and Shenzhen Ecological Environment Bureau, and hosted by Shenzhen Domestic Waste Classification Management Affairs Centre, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co.,limited, ESG GBA Sustainable Growth Promotion Association, and E-STAR COMMERCIAL, in conjunction with Ping An Bank, the four major sustainable environmental protection enterprises and institutions (Super Crab, Langkun Bio- and Anrejie Environmental Protection, and the Getting Better Helping Service Centre for the Disabled), Six new energy vehicle brands (Tesla,ZEEKR, NIO, VOYAH, ROX).
New Energy Vehicle Exhibition: Driving the Green Mobility Revolution
The event brought together six major new energy vehicle companies to create a ‘mobile ESG pavilion’ with a car boot bazaar as the carrier. Through interesting interactions, the concept of sustainable living was conveyed. Participants can get ‘low carbon coins’ in the bazaar and exchange them for rich gifts and participate in low carbon interaction. These interactive experiences not only let participants feel the fun of environmental protection, but also let them learn how to practice the concept of sustainable development in their daily lives.
Circular Economy Booths: Making Sustainability ‘Playable and Transportable’
A number of tailgate bazaars were set up on site to turn ESG concepts into fun productivity. For example, at the ZEEKR Automotive ‘Coffee Dregs Potted Plant’, participants could make potted plants with coffee grounds and experience the resourcefulness of industrial by-products; at the ‘Super Crab’ booth, the environmental organisation Super Crab continued to innovate in its exploration, using fishing nets, industrial plastics and other wastes to hatch a variety of sports equipment, which further broadened the boundaries of sustainable living. The most popular activity is the ‘Books for Vegetables’ campaign - the public donates unused books in exchange for carbon credits, and the books are sterilised and sent to rural schools by the ‘Green Stage Books’ project, realising the dual values of knowledge recycling and education equity.
Public Welfare Empowering Ecology: Making Low-Carbon Economy Warmer
The event has deeply connected with social welfare and built an ESG value community. 50% of the proceeds from the ‘Better and Better’ bazaar were donated to projects to help people with disabilities. This ‘business for good’ model makes every purchase a booster for inclusive social development, and confirms the deep integration of environmental responsibility and social governance in the ESG concept. Practising social responsibility and delivering warmth and care through practical actions.
Through the three-dimensional model of ‘New Energy Vehicle Exhibition + Low Carbon Life Experience + Public Welfare Value Co-creation’, the event allows ESG concepts to break through the framework of corporate reporting, and transforms them into perceptible, participatory, and communicable public actions, building a new energy ecological circle culture. ‘This is not only a market, but also a door to a green future.’ We invite you to join us on this journey of enlightenment towards sustainable living, and witness how every small action converges into a world-changing energy field.
As the organiser of this event, CATL, as a new energy technology practitioner, has integrated the dual-carbon strategy into the urban fabric - using power battery technology to drive the transformation of green mobility, activating the potential of carbon reduction in consumption scenarios with the thinking of circular economy, and constructing the ecology of social value co-creation with the practice of ESG. This not only shows the responsibility of the enterprise as a ‘forerunner’ of the carbon neutral process, but also transforms the concept of sustainability into an accessible paradigm of public action, injects the inexhaustible power of science and technology for the construction of the city, and replies to the proposition of the times with cutting-edge explorations: the kinetic energy of green development is lighting up the future through the resonance of every enterprise and individual.

On 20 March 2025, the ‘Hong Kong Youth Shenzhen ESG Study Tour’ was successfully held in Shenzhen. Co-organised by the ESG GBA Sustainable Growth Promotion Association, the Association of China Trend Studies (Hong Kong), the China Education Cultural Exchange Foundation and the Hong Kong Futian Youth Association, the event aimed to let Hong Kong youths experience Shenzhen's advanced achievements in the fields of ecological civilisation and green development through field trips and interactive exchanges and at the same time to deepen their understanding and identification with the concept of sustainable development of the country.
On that day, more than 80 students from two secondary schools in Hong Kong participated in the activity. They were divided into two groups, A and B, according to the scheduled programme, and went to Shenzhen Nanshan Energy ecological Park and Futian Mangrove Ecological Park respectively to conduct research and learning experience. In the morning, Group A arrived at Nanshan Energy Ecological Park by Hong Kong bus to learn more about the whole process of rubbish classification, treatment and incineration power generation; Group B went to Futian Mangrove Ecological Park in Shenzhen to have a close experience of the unique charm of the coastal wetland and the display of ecological science and technology. At noon, the two groups of students had lunch together and then participated in a sharing session hosted by Ms. Evelyn Wu , Vice President of the ESG GBA Sustainable Growth Promotion Association, in which the atmosphere was vibrant and interactive. In the afternoon, Group A went to Futian Mangrove Ecological Park, while Group B visited Nanshan Energy Ecological Park. The whole activity was carried out in an orderly manner, accompanied and guided by the leaders of the accompanying delegation and the staff of the park to ensure safety and learning effect.
Nanshan Energy Ecological Park - the perfect fusion of industrial art and green technology
Shenzhen Nanshan Energy ecological Park, as a rare ‘rubbish incineration power plant without walls’ in China, with green as the background colour and the mountains and the sea as the link, collides the beauty of art with industrial production to form a distinctive open space, and integrates the concepts of waste recycling and healthy living into the whole process of production, construction and management, which completely subverts the stereotypical impression of the traditional rubbish treatment plant. The concept of waste recycling and healthy living is integrated into the whole process of production, construction and management, completely subverting the stereotypical image of traditional waste treatment plants.
Led by professional lecturers, the students gained an in-depth understanding of the whole process of waste incineration and power generation: from waste classification, incineration and power generation to slag recycling, the park achieves the maximum use of resources through closed-loop management. In the recycling art gallery, through the collision of industry and art, a different ecological aesthetic is presented. ‘Waste products are transformed into works of art here, and you can enjoy a series of artworks created from glass, cardboard, plastic bottles and other common wastes. For example, a giant ‘light bulb’ is made from discarded plastic bottles and foam; a paper elephant sculpture is made from recycled cardboard; and a miniature landscape of ‘desert roses’ is made from furnace slag, recycled coffee grounds, and everlasting flowers.
The data show that Nanshan Energy Eco-Park handles 950,000 tonnes of rubbish per year and reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 118,750 tonnes per year. The park cumulatively handles 7.15 million tonnes of domestic rubbish, 93,000 tonnes of family food waste, saving 11.45 million cubic metres of landfill capacity; cumulatively generates 2.83 billion degrees of electricity, saves 1.02 million tonnes of standard coal, and reduces the emission of carbon dioxide from coal combustion by 2.83 million tonnes, which is equivalent to planting 1.98 million acres of forests. The incinerated slag is made into environmentally friendly bricks, and various metals are separated and recycled, forming a recycling industry chain with an annual output value of 153 million yuan.
Exploring Futian Mangrove Ecological Park - a vivid classroom of natural ecology and science education
Futian Mangrove Ecological Park, an ecological park that takes into account both ecological conservation and wetland education, is adjacent to Futian Mangrove Nature Reserve and separated from Hong Kong Mai Po Nature Reserve by a river.
The Mangrove Ecological Park attracts students with its unique coastal wetland ecosystem. Here, you can see the beautiful wetland scenery of ‘the falling sun and the lone rushes flying together, the autumn water and the long sky in one colour’. As a national bird sanctuary, it is home to 23 rare and endangered species, including the famous black-faced spoonbill.
During the activity, through facilities such as the science exhibition hall, dynamic sand table display and bird watching gallery, students intuitively understood the ecological functions of mangrove forests, such as carbon sequestration and oxygen release, wind and dike protection, climate regulation and maintenance of biodiversity. Interpreters in the park introduced in detail the status of mangrove wetlands in the global ecosystem and their important contribution to the improvement of the urban environment, and emphasised the significance of mangrove conservation to international wetland protection and biodiversity maintenance. The students were able to enjoy the original beauty of the coastal wetland and feel the significance of harmonious coexistence between human and nature in their long-distance climbing and bird-watching in the field.
Lunchtime Sharing Session: Interactive Communication, Inspiring Thinking
At the sharing session held in the cafeteria at noon, Ms. Evelyn Wu, Vice President of the ESG GBA Sustainable Growth Promotion Association, delivered a wonderful opening speech. She reviewed the visit experience of each group in the morning in a friendly and humorous language, and invited the students on site to share what they had seen and heard and what they had learnt. The students shared their surprise experience of witnessing rubbish being turned into treasure at Nanshan Energy Ecological Park, and the importance of natural charm and ecological balance at Futian Mangrove Ecological Park.
A student from Group B shared an interesting story, ‘When we entered the park, I wondered why there were so many unripe coconuts hanging underneath the leaves of the trees, but when I looked closely, all of them were moving, and I saw seven or eight small bats living in them. I always thought that bats live in gloomy caves, but it turns out that animals in nature are very smart and know how to use different spaces to set up their own dwellings, and also to see that kind of relationship in nature where substances depend on each other, it really increased my knowledge.’
Another student from Group B said, ‘When we went to the mangrove forest this time, we had a special experience that the restricted area was specially opened for us to go in. I heard from the guide that it was the first time they had been in there in so many years, and we really have to thank the authorities for arranging this, it was a special experience. In addition, during the tour of the park, the guide took us to look carefully at different lampposts to find some different features, and then we found that the lamppost at No. 068 had an additional bird-shaped pattern behind it, and there was also a box at the back of this lamp, and these lampposts originally appeared to be a bit narrower and smaller than ordinary lampposts, which made us think that they were very special at the beginning. It turns out that these lamp posts have three lampshades, which are very large, and some birds used to build their nests on them, but there is a risk of electrical injury to the birds living on the lamp posts, which will cause the lamps to short-circuit, so in order to protect the ecosystem, the lamp posts were made narrower, and the lamps that had been found to have nests of birds in the original lamps were all added with markings, which is a really interesting remembrance.’
A student from Group A mentioned, ‘Usually a lot of news is mainly about the economy or development of the mainland, but this time I came to Shenzhen to go to the Nanshan Energy Eco-Park, I can understand more about the mainland, especially those recycled fuels in Shenzhen, and I think it's a very good experience.’
The study tour vividly illustrated Shenzhen's advanced practice in ESG through the dual exploration of ‘technology + ecology’, and the students gained a lot from it. From the advanced waste incineration and recycling model of Nanshan Energy Ecological Park to the successful practice of wetland protection, migratory bird habitat and ecological popularisation in Futian Mangrove Ecological Park, the study demonstrated Shenzhen's outstanding achievements in realising ‘green and low-carbon development’ and promoting ‘ecological civilisation construction’. The successful practices in wetland protection, migratory bird habitat conservation and ecological science popularisation all demonstrate Shenzhen's outstanding achievements in achieving ‘green and low-carbon development’ and promoting ‘ecological civilisation construction’.
In the future, the ESG GBA Sustainable Growth Promotion Association will continue to join hands with all sectors to organise more diverse study and exchange activities, build a cross-regional and multi-level environmental education platform, discuss the latest trends and challenges in sustainable urban development, circular economy and ecological protection, and promote the implementation of green development strategies in the region and even the country as a whole.
On March 12, 2025, the "2025 Green Park Spring Tea Conference of the ESG GBA Sustainable Growth Promotion Association" was successfully held at the Aiyue Public Welfare Foundation in Wisdom Plaza. The theme of this spring tea conference is "Dual-wheel drive of digitalization and low-carbon technology, a new model of sustainable development of green parks". People from all walks of life in the ESG field from cities in the Greater Bay Area such as Hong Kong, Macau, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, and Guangzhou gathered together to conduct in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics such as green park construction, digital transformation, carbon management strategies, ESG ratings and investments.
The event was co-hosted by the ESG GBA Sustainable Growth Promotion Association and Shenzhen Fangzhongtian Network Technology Co., Ltd., independently organized by the ESG Global Communication Center, and co-organized by Shenzhen Aiyue Public Welfare Foundation and Shenzhen Aizile Reading Center; it aims to promote the implementation of ESG concepts in corporate parks, promote enterprises to accelerate green transformation under the background of "dual carbon", jointly explore low-carbon sustainable development models, and contribute wisdom and strength to building a green, inclusive and responsible economy.
Opening speech: Gathering the power of the Bay Area and jointly seeking a green future
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Gao Yichuan, President of the ESG GBA Sustainable Growth Promotion Association, delivered a keynote speech. 2024 is known as the first year of ESG in China, and national policies are accelerating the construction of the ESG system. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with its location advantages, economic strength and innovative environment, is becoming a focal area for global ESG practices.
Since its establishment, the ESG GBA Sustainable Growth Promotion Association has always been committed to building an ESG ecosystem, providing companies with ESG assessment, standard setting, green investment and financing support, and helping companies achieve sustainable growth in the process of ESG transformation.
Facing the new situation of ESG global competition, President Gao proposed an action plan from three dimensions: 1) Strive to formulate the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area ESG Park Certification Standard" by the end of 2025; 2) Jointly establish the "ESG Green Bond Special Board" with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange to provide low-cost financing channels for park enterprises; 3) Create the "Asia-Pacific ESG Park Innovation Alliance". He also called on the government, enterprises, academia and the media to work together to transform carbon management from a "cost center" to a "value center" and jointly promote the construction of green parks in the Greater Bay Area to a new height.
Keynote speech: Frontier technology empowers precise carbon management
Dr. Cheng Shi: Zero-carbon park practice driven by digitalization and low-carbon technology
In the keynote speech, Dr. Cheng Shi (a postdoctoral fellow at Tsinghua University and a national carbon neutrality policy expert) deeply analyzed how technological innovation can solve the problem of green transformation, the policy opportunities and technical paths of zero-carbon parks. He pointed out that the current national policy has provided strong momentum for the construction of green parks. Park enterprises can use smart grids, energy storage technologies, digital management, etc. to improve energy efficiency, build a full-chain green supply chain, and achieve industrial collaborative development.
He introduced, "Whether it is for a single building or a group of buildings in a park, we can use relatively advanced technologies such as AI and big data to build a smart energy body to save energy and reduce emissions." Based on previous explorations, his team has formed three sections: 1) Smart energy and virtual power plants; 2) Comprehensive smart energy carbon management platform; 3) Low-carbon energy-saving technical transformation measures. Digital twin technology is the "smart brain" of a zero-carbon park. The WECS intelligent body platform developed by his team has achieved "visible, measurable and controllable" building and park energy by building a virtual power plant and an AI-driven energy dispatching system. For example: In an independent energy storage project in Shandong, the annual peak-shaving revenue reached about 20 million yuan.
Mr. Zou Yichong: Digital base breaks the data island in the park
Mr. Zou Yichong (Master at Tsinghua University, R&D director of Digital Dual Carbon Company) put forward the view that "digital base helps the value transformation of carbon footprint management", which directly hits the current pain points of green park construction: despite the increasingly improved hardware facilities, enterprises still face data islands, high compliance costs and static reporting difficulties. He emphasized that carbon management should not be a last-minute effort, but should be achieved through a digital foundation to achieve dynamic value transfer and upgrade carbon management from passive compliance to active efficiency.
He proposed three breakthrough paths:
1. Data integration: connect the data islands of the park's energy, logistics, environmental protection and other systems, build a unified digital foundation, and form real-time and dynamic carbon data assets;
2. AI empowerment: automatically generate carbon footprint reports and carbon reduction suggestions based on large model technology;
3. Value closed loop: apply data to green financial docking, virtual power plant scheduling and carbon asset development.
Corporate practice: ESG exploration from strategy to implementation
BYD Battery ESG Sustainable Development Practice
Dr. Li Shicai (RMC Director of BYD Battery Business Group) shared BYD Battery ESG system construction experience. BYD Battery is based on the new energy industry and has been deeply involved in the battery field for more than 30 years. It has the ability to 100% independently develop, design and produce batteries. Products cover power batteries, energy storage and new batteries, consumer batteries and components, and have built a complete battery industry chain.
He introduced that BYD Battery aims to achieve operational carbon neutrality in 2035 and full value chain carbon neutrality in 2045. BYD optimizes carbon emission management through AI and big data, and is expected to invest about 1.4 billion in emission reduction in the next five years; it has deployed bases, outlets, and after-sales 4S stores across the country to recycle retired batteries, and has solved the problem of overseas battery material reflow through black powder recycling technology.
Dr. Li Shicai concluded: "Our mission is to 'let people use batteries without worries', which is a social responsibility. Don't provide unsafe products to our users, we take it as the first consideration."
ESG investment·Unlocking the hidden value of enterprises
Ms. Wang Zhaoyi (Partner of Xirong Venture Capital) proposed the concept of "Shan-ESG", emphasizing the synergy of social value and commercial value, and sharing how to help enterprises do ESG planning from an investment perspective and unlock the hidden value of enterprises.
Shan-ESG (S-ESG): Combining the positive and negative screening mechanisms in ESG, ESG integration, sustainable investment, impact investment, company and shareholder actions, through the dual mechanisms of the Investment Committee and the Social Committee, give full play to the initiative of enterprises, bring higher safety margins to the screening and management of project commercial value and social value, and create greater and more sustainable social value and commercial value.
She concluded: "I hope investors can practice this theory and incorporate ESG into the core logic of asset allocation. In the future, start-ups should turn social value into a social value multiplier for them to become a model in the valuation of enterprises. Therefore, 'ESG is not a multiple-choice question, but a must-answer question for the survival of enterprises in the next 50 years.'"
GRESB Rating: Helping Real Estate Create Sustainable Value
Mr. Wu Bin (Head of Marketing and Communications of GRESB) introduced the application value of GRESB, the global real estate sustainable development rating system. GRESB, a global ESG benchmark for physical assets, combines international mainstream ESG frameworks, protocols and disclosure standards, and is widely recognized by global financial and capital markets; it mainly targets the real estate and infrastructure sectors, covering more than 80 countries and regions around the world, and more than 3,000 real estate and infrastructure funds, developers, asset operators and other related companies use GRESB's products and services to make decisions.
He pointed out: "The real estate industry accounts for nearly 38% to 40% of carbon emissions." Global investors are accelerating their transition to net zero, and ESG's influence on real estate financing has increased significantly. GRESB quantifies ESG performance as a "pass" for the capital market through a dynamic scoring mechanism.
Top 10 hot spots and pain points of corporate ESG and countermeasures
Mr. Zhou Guoyin (Chief ESG Expert of IPC International Electronics Industry Connecting Association China and Chairman of IPC-1401 ESG Standard Technical Group) redefined ESG from the perspective of enterprises as a component of quality and an attribute of products and value chain activities; and based on statistical results, he introduced in detail the top 10 hot spots and pain points of corporate ESG in 2024. He pointed out that ESG is not an empty slogan. The essence of ESG is to eliminate evil and promote good, and the core is responsible products and services (RPS) and responsible business behavior (RBC).
Mr. Zhou Guoyin specially introduced the IPC-1401 ESG management system standard formulated by him. This standard focuses on the ESG pain points of manufacturing companies, adopts the ISO PDCA cycle and the OECD 6-step method of responsible management; proposes seven levels of compliance obligations (regulations, ethics, industry standards, customers, investors, employee requirements, and corporate commitments); clarifies four expected results (compliance assurance, risk management, customer satisfaction, and efficiency improvement), helping companies to sink ESG from the reporting level to the execution level.
EEKA Fashion: Brand Upward·Fashion Good·Governance Stable
Mr. Chai Linlin (Vice Chairman and Secretary General of Winner Fashion Charity Foundation) shared how Winner Fashion Group enhances brand value through ESG strategy.
As a leading Chinese women's clothing company, Winner Fashion has deeply embedded ESG into its brand genes:
- Green production: sustainable materials are used; about 1,500 stores use green and environmentally friendly decoration;
- Empowering women: "Flower Girls School" trains ethnic minority craftsmen, promotes intangible cultural heritage, and helps rural revitalization;
- Employee care: "Lunch break culture", "Reimbursement of travel expenses for visiting relatives".
Aiyue Charity Foundation: Irrigating the future with reading
Ms. Yuan Quan (Secretary-General of Aiyue Charity Foundation) deeply analyzed the current situation of children's reading and shared the innovative practice of Aiyue Charity Foundation in promoting social equity and sustainable development through professional projects.
She pointed out that children's reading currently faces significant urban-rural differences, and there is a serious lack of concept and practice for accompanying children in reading. Aiyue Charity Foundation takes "professionalism, exploration, fun, and growth" as its values, and solves reading problems through a dual-track model of funding and operation. Operational projects include the Reading Buds Project and bibliographic development, and funding projects include the Reading Forest Project, the Reading Farming Project, the IBBY-iRead Love Reading Award, and the Zhao Yuanren Language Science Award, which help the industry build and develop and build a scientific reading ecosystem.
In the free exchange session, the guests discussed in depth on topics such as technical security and standard co-construction, sparking sparks of wisdom with great practical value.
At the end of the event, the guests, corporate representatives and ESG investment institutions conducted in-depth exchanges to promote business cooperation and resource docking in the ESG field. Many companies expressed strong interest in ESG ratings, carbon management digital solutions, etc.
The "2025 Green Park Spring Tea Conference" ended successfully, but the journey of ESG development continues.
In the future, the ESG GBA Sustainable Growth Promotion Association will continue to play a bridging role, linking international ESG cutting-edge concepts with local innovative practices, and helping Greater Bay Area companies build green competitiveness. The association's vision is to explore and practice the Chinese solution for ESG and contribute to building a sustainable, fair and transparent business environment.
Looking back now, our choice is in line with the strongest pulse of the times - using the open gene of the Bay Area to solve the "bottleneck" problem of global ESG certification and build an ESG empowerment center "at the doorstep" for Chinese companies going overseas. When the spring tide hits Shenzhen Bay, we hear not only the sound of waves, but also the surging heartbeat of the green economy!
The issue of climate change is imminent, and industrial upgrading is imperative. Green parks are not only the key to sustainable development, but also a new engine for enterprise competitiveness. Under the dual challenges of global warming and resource crisis, green parks have become an important tool to achieve the ‘dual carbon’ goal. With the increasing global attention to climate change, the ‘dual-carbon’ goal has become the direction of the joint efforts of all countries in the world. 12 December 2024, China's Central Economic Work Conference proposed for the first time to ‘establish a number of zero-carbon parks’ as one of the key tasks in 2025, emphasising the ‘coordinated promotion of carbon reduction, pollution reduction, greening, expansion, and greening’. The Central Economic Work Conference on 12 December 2024 proposed for the first time ‘establishing a number of zero-carbon parks’ as one of the key tasks for 2025, emphasising ‘synergistic promotion of carbon reduction, pollution reduction, greening and efficiency enhancement’, promoting the construction of a national carbon market, and establishing a carbon footprint management system for products and a carbon labelling and certification system.
In this context, the construction of green parks is not only a key initiative to respond to climate change and promote sustainable development, but also an inevitable choice for industrial upgrading and enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises. In response to the national policy call to promote the construction of green parks and low-carbon transformation, the ESG GBA Sustainable Growth Promotion Association will hold the ‘Green Park Spring Luncheon 2025’ on 12 March 2025 in Shenzhen.

Among the many exhibiting brands, CATL (300750.SZ), as a leading company in the new energy industry, is particularly notable for its efforts in sustainable development. As the leader of the global power battery industry, CATL not only makes breakthroughs in technological innovation, but also has a far-reaching layout in the construction of sustainable development.
It is reported that from 2017 to 2023, the power battery usage of CATL has ranked first in the world for seven consecutive years. in 2023, the total global power battery installed capacity is about 705.5GWh, a year-on-year growth of 38.6%. Among them, the cumulative global power battery installed capacity of CATL reached 259.7GWh, a year-on-year growth of 40.80%, with a market share as high as 36.8%, ranking first in the industry.
However, the business scope of CATL is not limited to power batteries. The company is also involved in a variety of fields such as energy storage batteries and battery material recycling, reflecting its in-depth thinking about the sustainable development of the whole industrial chain. In terms of sustainable development construction, CATL has taken zero-carbon cities as a starting point, and made a comprehensive layout in the direction of photovoltaic power generation, energy storage power stations, electric logistics, and transport systems.
It is worth mentioning that CATL has already realised the construction of photovoltaic storage and charging integrated charging stations, and this innovative model is not only compatible with renewable energy access, but also capable of integrating the power grid, renewable energy, energy storage system and charging facilities into an intelligent microgrid system, which greatly improves the efficiency of energy use.
CATL' zero-carbon strategy even highlights its determination on the road to sustainable development. The company plans to achieve carbon neutrality in its core operations by 2025 and in its value chain by 2035, and is expected to be the world's first head battery company to achieve carbon neutrality. At present, CATL has already achieved carbon neutrality in four factories, and in the future, it will also extend its innovative zero-carbon solutions to zero-carbon communities, zero-carbon islands and zero-carbon cities, and ultimately realise its grand vision of a zero-carbon world.
In addition to Nintex, the bazaar also attracted the participation of many brands that uphold the concept of sustainable development. For example, Super Crab Crab (non-profit) uses discarded fishing nets, industrial plastics and other materials to create unique recycled products, while AGAIN Sustainable Coffee Aroma makes coffee grounds into fragrance, which not only reduces waste, but also brings a pleasant sensory experience to consumers.
These innovative sustainable lifestyles are not only reflected in the products, but also extend to all aspects of daily life. For example, the handmade lemon tea not only quenches the thirst, but also represents a healthy and environmentally friendly attitude towards life; the wooden handicrafts made by Park demonstrates the environmental creativity of ‘turning waste into treasure’; and the Sustainable Living Map (non-profit) provides a guide to sustainable choices covering all aspects of life for the people of Shenzhen.
Using the bazaar as a platform, focusing on the new energy industry and sustainable life, it provides space for enterprises to display their development concepts into the city's beautiful bazaar. The bazaar is an exploration of sustainable culture and sustainable lifestyles, integrating industry promotion, knowledge sharing, product experience and cultural interaction, and joining hands to move towards a better future of sustainable development.
