Under the dual challenges of global warming and resource crisis, green parks have become an important tool to achieve the ‘dual carbon’ goal. With the increasing global attention to climate change, the ‘dual-carbon’ goal has become the direction of the joint efforts of all countries in the world. 12 December 2024, China's Central Economic Work Conference proposed for the first time to ‘establish a number of zero-carbon parks’ as one of the key tasks in 2025, emphasising the ‘coordinated promotion of carbon reduction, pollution reduction, greening, expansion, and greening’. In this context, the construction of green parks is not only a key initiative to respond to climate change and promote sustainable development, but also an inevitable choice for industrial upgrading and enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises. In response to the national policy call to promote the construction of green parks and low-carbon transformation, the ESG GBA Sustainable Growth Promotion Association will hold the ‘Green Park Spring Luncheon 2025’ on 12 March 2025 in Shenzhen.

With the theme of ‘Digitalisation and Low Carbon Technology - A New Model for Sustainable Development of Green Parks’, the conference brought together government leaders, industry experts, corporate elites and academic leaders to discuss the future development direction of green parks, share cutting-edge technology and practical experience, and help enterprises move forward to the next stage of development. The event was honoured to invite many authoritative experts in the industry, including Mr. Cheng Shi, postdoctoral fellow of Tsinghua University, executive director of Engineering Diagnosis, Treatment and Operation and Maintenance Branch of Architectural Society of China, and senior expert of China Energy Conservation Association's Committee on Electricity Saving and Green Power; Mr Zou Yichong, a master's degree holder from Tsinghua University who worked for China Coal Technology and Industry Group, led R&D projects, proposed innovative measurement methods and applied for patents, and is now the R&D director of a digital bicarbon company in Beijing;As well as Mr Zhou Guoyin, former Huawei ESG expert, is the Chief ESG Expert of IPC China and Chairman of IPC-1401 ESG Standard Technical Group. At that time, they will focus on the cutting-edge science and technology and innovative practices in the energy field, share their valuable experience and insights in the process of scientific research and exploration, technology research and transformation of achievements, and jointly discuss the industry development trend, bringing a feast of knowledge and wisdom collision, helping participants to develop ideas and grasp opportunities in related fields.
